The boo bucket tradition turns 40
Boo buckets started in 1986 as Halloween pails that swap in for the Happy Meal box, and they have come back most spooky seasons since. The 2026 set leans into Disney’s most notorious scene-stealers, and McDonald’s own send-up of the lineup sums up the mood: “This spooky szn, we’re entering our villain era.” Popular villains tend to vanish from busy locations first once the set lands, so checking what has been spotted nearby saves a trip.
Find them near you when they land. KidsMealToys maps community-reported sightings across every McDonald’s around you, so you can see which locations actually have each villain bucket in stock once the set goes live.
